Bagoyong Sendong, or internationally known as Washi, lashed out at my city (Cagayan de Oro)this December 17, 2011. To say it was "bad" is the biggest understatement in the century. A lot of people I know lost their homes, some lost their loved ones. I have a high school batchmate who lost her father and little sister in the flash floods that ravaged the affected areas near the river. My sister even has a classmate who's still missing too. The death toll of of all the victims are still climbing. Last I checked there were 400+ confirmed dead and hundreds more missing. Water supply is down by 80%.

I'm very thankful that my family was spared, as we live in unaffected areas in the city.

It was a pretty movie, better animation quality than the series (then again, it is a MOVIE) but I had problems with the transitioning of certain scenes. Ah well.

Oh and...Sheryl is awesome *u*, as usual. She had lots of cool, sexy and uber cute moments. Her date with Alto was one of the highlights of the movie as well the earring scene with Alto.

The battles didn't really stimulate me as much as the series, nonetheless they were still sweet.

Oh and while Ranka wasn't as a damn-selfish brat as in the series, her improvements were really just too obvious, it's laughable. An example is her sudden awareness of the Vajra. X'D
Oh and OOC-Alto (when around Wanko)and her is-already-a-friend-schtick was all so convenient for her sake and the development of the triangle. XP

I can't wait for movie 2 when she fails like in the series (though I'm sure they'll downplay it). 8D It is the beauty of hatred!

Oh and I'm already hearing Wankians calling the movie much better than the original series, which to that I just laugh. XD
